    Used to be that you could log in and get into the APP with ease. Now it is “FINISHING UP” and restoring/reloading APP no longer helps. NOT user friendly. No longer allows one to access one’s data and keep business records without a huge time sink because of log-in process. Please fix this aggravation. Time is money.

    The message of QB Solopreneur was built upon the success of its predecessor (QB Self- Employed) is a wild statement. This app regressed significantly and the quality of life features are just not there anymore.

    Clients used to be able to be able to use tap to pay, but it no longer works. Please fix it it’s been like that for about 2 weeks already

    The website version is great but the app is buggy and troublingly inaccurate. Shows my Quickbooks checking account balance as $X but in my current Balance Sheet it’s a different (/wrong) number! (And no I don’t have pending transactions or some other potential explanation for that). Crashes/quits randomly when adjusting transactions. Asks if I want to “stay or leave” after I confirm the final transaction, neither of which does anything different. Reports are much more limited in the app (no P&L by Month, for example). Stick to the website version if you want to do any real work.

    I’m a CEO and always traveling for work. If I could give it 0 stars I would. For me, it is more convenient to be able to create invoices from my phone and not carry a computer with me every time I have to leave the house. For 1 YEAR I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CREATE EVEN ONE SINGLE INVOICE FROM MY PHONE. The application does not work and closes by itself. I have to depend on my work team to be able to create invoices for me. Unacceptable.

    When I signed up for this service years 4+ years ago, I loved it. However recently they've been rolling out updates every couple of months that you can't opt out of 100% and it makes it hard to navigate the pages. The most recent update seems to have errors in the code as I can't even look up my inventory with key words anymore, making it insanely difficult to find what I need in my inventory. They raised the cost about $5/mo 3x in the last year alone. And they 5% apy they boast about….i just got an email that they're lowering it to 3%. Might have to take the time to switch programs if things keep going this way.

  • Infuriatingly Slow

    Every time I try to open this app it takes literally 5 minutes or more to open. The receipt capture is the main thing I use it for and while it is a good feature in theory, it is also painfully slow to use. Please do something about this.

    I generally don’t leave reviews but I’ve used this mobile app for a few years to run my business, and it just seems to get worse as time goes on. I can’t wait for it to “load my data” for 2-3 minutes every time I open the app throughout the day. And if my screen closes at 1:59, I’ve got to start over. Each update seems to bring a new glitch we have to fight through. Today I can’t see invoices that I’ve made.

    I find it disturbing that, in order to have 3 searchable custom invoice fields, my QBO monthly price went from $20 to $275…and the custom fields aren’t even available in the iPad app. I have to use a web browser to create the invoice and fill in my custom fields, and then leave that and go to the app to finish my invoice. The app is much easier to use for most invoice tasks than the web interface, but the custom fields I’m paying an extraordinary amount for should also be available in the app. Very disturbing. QBO support just says…”we can’t do anything about the app or how it works”. Also very disturbing, as Intuit also produces the app. Now…for the last few weeks, every single time I open the app, it’s frozen. I have to open it, shut it down, restart it, and wait a few minutes for it to update. If Quickbooks isn’t actually “QUICK”, either change the name or…FIX IT! Update…12/5/24…I don’t know what’s happening. Seems like every time you people “improve” this app, it just gets worse and worse. The app has stopped displaying anything. I updated it and restarted my iPad. Nothing has changed. I can’t see anything. If this app doesn’t get fixed, I will be cancelling my Quickbooks subscription. I’m extremely tired of paying hundreds of dollars every month just for the privilege of telling you your software DOESN’T WORK. Update…12/10/24…The new app interface is horrible. STOP MAKING EVERYTHING WORSE!!!
