  • Long Letters = No views ?

I had a letter that went unnoticed for over a month and I tried to resend it and still got no views on it. I deleted and tried to send a new one again and still nothing.. is it because my letter is too long? Why is nobody reading my letter? I really needed advice on it, it’s really important to me but I guess I’ll just have to be alone on this one 😕

  • Love the app, don't love the false belief of cancelable subscriptiona.

I tried the 3 say trial. Cancelled the app, via Apple's app store subscription page. And then yesterday or the day before I got money taken out for the subscription I canceled before the trial ended. But they still tookomey put. That's predatory sales behaviors.

You have literally RUINED this app with the ads and subscriptions. This used to be my comfort app and a place where I could actually talk about things before the ads and it’s all ruined. So sad how you’ve become money hungry

The hardest thing for anyone is to be honest with themselves much less total strangers. But the anonymity makes it possible to get the help, or just the kindness of a total stranger. Sincerely truely is a place where we all belong. There’s no real brotherhood or sense of community however having someone there even in the shadows is a welcomed site when u need it most.
  • Of course it costs money

And OFC I conveniently can’t find the cancel free trial button even using Google to give directions. (On the app or settings) and gotta contact costumer service via email so who knows how long it’ll take to get help
  • Worth Trying, Just Not For Me

I gave this app a shot after seeing an ad for it on Instagram. I normally ignore ads and scroll past, but this seemed like something I wanted to try. I have been going through the most heartbreaking, confusing, and frustrating time of my life recently and thought it would be nice to vent to strangers and maybe get some responses as well as respond to others going through hard times. It’s a good idea in theory, but there’s something about the way it’s executed just doesn’t sit right with me. I tried to be patient and wait for responses and even sent a few responses of my own to others, but there’s no guarantee that anyone will actually reply to your letter and I especially dislike how some people respond using only emojis—I know there’s a setting where you can change that but I am absolutely not signing up for a subscription just to do that or to unlock other useful features that shouldn’t be blocked behind a paywall. Not everyone can afford to pay for a subscription and nobody should have to sign up for one in order to receive support from anonymous people online. I fear that’s what apps like Reddit are useful for. More importantly, a singular emoji response seems very insincere and tone deaf to me, and even then, the responses from others seem to be rare/scarce. I still recommend trying this app if you think it may help you, but in my personal experience, it did not. The app itself is not necessarily bad, but it may not be what you need if you’re really in need of helpful feedback. Reddit (as well as other apps/platforms similar to it) might be better for that as you can still remain anonymous and have a higher chance at getting responses.
