I tried to download this assuming of course that I would have to pay for it after I made my first video which I was okay with, but you can't even quality check your first video before they want you to pay a bunch of money. You never know with AI these days it could be hit or miss, and I'm not willing to pay $30 to make two music videos. (It's about 2000 credits to make a video, and $30 for 4000 credits or $20 for 800 credits which isn't enough) that first impression tells me that it's probably not worth it.

It generate a video of me with three arms a car with six wheels. I contacted support. They ignored me.

I paid for Sondo AI expecting a useful AI music video generator, but my experience was extremely disappointing. not just the fact that majority of your video is inconsistent B role of like glitter and sparkle tornadoes everywhere but that’s literally all the video consist of that and little gnome looking silhouettes gliding across the ground without legs yeah it’s just weird weirdest thing I’ve ever seen and a little bit of footage that they do put of me if it wasn’t giving me extra arms the lip syncing was not at all matching my lyrics and for whatever reason they always give you a mean muggin looking face at some point in the video with like smoke coming out of your nose, which is pretty much how I was feeling after watching this waste of money and time I put into this stupid video. The pricing structure feels misleading. I paid for the subscription, uploaded my song, entered the style and direction I wanted, and waited while the app generated a full concept/story plan. After reviewing the plan and choosing to create the video, I was then taken to another paywall asking me to purchase additional credits. At that point, I had already paid for the subscription and invested time into the process, only to find out that the subscription alone was not enough to actually complete what I thought I was paying for. Even after paying, the final AI-generated music video was poor quality and not usable for what I needed. The biggest issue is that you cannot really edit or fix the video after it is generated. you can replace clips that you’re not happy with, but of course it charges you every time you do an excessive amount of credits and only to give you worse than the first go around character consistency as completely lacking specially if you have it redo the clip where you you’ll come out looking like some Frankenstein AI jump scare. or they’ll just replace you with a leprechaun altogether. I get Its AI and it’s always Hitt or mess with that. But for what they’re charging, it’d be cheaper just to go use artlist.io at least you have better editing control, and they don’t charge half as much and way better quality. they understand AI and how it works and what to charge for it and how people need to use it and how it’s used altogether. This app obviously knows nothing about AI in the real world and how it’s being used today by creatives like us. their customer service is just as poor as there product. when I reached out about how I felt mislead they pretty much told me. “Oh well you snooze you lose” but you know in their own corporate type way. You basically get whatever the app gives you. For a music video, that is a major problem. Music videos need timing, pacing, creative control, and the ability to revise shots that do not work. This app does not provide that level of control. When I reached out, the response I received only explained how their credits work, but it did not address the real issue: the customer experience feels unclear and unfair. A paid subscription should clearly explain what is included, how many credits you get, whether those credits are enough to generate a full music video, and what additional costs may appear before the customer pays. Overall, I do not feel this app delivered fair value for $29.99. Between the subscription, the extra credit paywall, the poor final result, and the lack of editing options, I cannot recommend Sondo AI to other creators, musicians, or anyone looking for a professional AI music video tool. Go to Artlist.io it’s 100 times better cheaper way better quality way better editing capabilities and they have a new studio feature where you can literally make anybody you want for your own videos, including yourself. You could pick your background you can pick your seen your settings. It is extremely user-friendly and you’re not charged out of the you know what just to have them removed the third arm from your neck that they should’ve never put on you to begin with. i’m not even joking. I literally had three arms and one or two of scenes one holding my phone one waving to the camera and the third waving goodbye to this app!

No better than the other laggy hack AI video generator apps

⭐☆☆☆☆ This app has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. I paid for a subscription believing I would be able to create and view my music video using the credits provided. Only after spending money and credits did I discover that generating the final MV required thousands of additional credits. The so-called preview was not sufficient to properly evaluate the final product, yet I was expected to spend significantly more money without knowing whether the result would actually meet my expectations. I contacted support and explained my concerns in detail. Unfortunately, my complaint was not properly addressed and no satisfactory resolution was provided. If this issue is not resolved fairly, including a refund or another reasonable solution, I will be consulting my legal and consumer protection options regarding what I believe is a lack of transparency in how the service is presented to paying customers. I strongly encourage users to read all reviews carefully before spending money on this app.

Even after buying the subscription, to create a video I had to pay and buy credits. Total bs.

I uploaded my song and it makes you subscribe and cost minimum $10 a Week to create the plot then additional $10 to get enough credits to create the video. Once the video was created, the quality was terrible. The plot didn’t fit the song, the scenes were awkward and didn’t go with the song at all. The picture i uploaded when rendered did not look like me at all.
