    Ever since they switched the Vico Nature cameras, we’ve been experiencing constant issues with all of them, not just the nature ones, but also our security cameras. To make matters worse, these cameras no longer provide us with notifications. When we reach out for help, they send us a lengthy list of tasks that we need to complete, which takes several hours when we have eight cameras. We need to reset, uninstall, reinstall, and install all the apps they provide. Even after we complete these tasks, they send us a generic apology message saying they’re here to help, but then they stop responding and nothing was fixed. They are the quintessential example of contributing to what is known as the annoyance economy.
  • Poorer than vico home

    This app is way worse than vico home. I got longer videos with vico home and better pictures and motion detections . The night motion detection on this is virtually useless. Do not switch from vico home if you do not have too. This app is just designed to give you less.
  • Cannot open app

    I am so frustrated that ever since they changed apps I have not been able to see my birds. It’s been various issues. First the app wouldn’t connect to my feeder. Now after several other issues, the app now will not let me log in. I get a message that my session expired and to log in again - but I’ve not been able to log in just repeats the same message. I have written several times to customer support, deleted and reinstalled, turned off and on my phone among other attempts to solve the issues. Nothing works and support just keeps saying uninstall and reinstall. How many times do I have to say I’ve already since this too many times and it still isn’t working. This is an expensive item that I couldn’t wait to have for a very long time before finally making the purchase and while everything was great before they changed apps, it is now a great frustration. I do NOT recommend this at this time.

    It was a very frustrating experience with this camera and app. Recording shutting off while there was still movement. Then after watching the babies grow I saw them wanting to fledge the nest last night. I got up to check on them this morning and they are gone and not a single recording since last night when they were in the nest.

    The app has us in a loop of signing us out, and asking us to log in. It claims we have poor network connection despite us having high speed internet. If you have recently purchased this brand of bird feeder… RETURN IT. Piece of junk.

    I can’t log in to my app anymore after almost a year of having this. It keeps saying session expired login but won’t let me login it just keeps repeating that message. Disappointed
  • No AI identification of birds

    I have yet to have the app identify new birds. I have to look them up online and I’d them myself. Then the app tells me about the bird. I’m on the monthly plan and if this is how it works I may as well not use it. Advise air solution please?
  • Vico Home vs Vico Nature

    Since the change, I have had lagging on live video, the UI is atrocious, the AI isn’t intelligent nor is it learning. It’s a technical problem child with cyber ADHD. My biggest concern is cost. Are we to be paying for both Vico Home Gen2 AND Vico Nature, or do we cancel Vico Home? A bit of clarity is needed. BTW, my neighborhood squirrel, whom I’ve named “Cousin Eddie, the Freeloader” is going through an identity crisis, due to being constantly misidentified as every known eastern seaboard avian species. Please add a squirrel identification to this app. Thank you for your time.

    We had to switch to this app from VicoHome and have had nothing but issues. Now it’s a constant “sign in”, which we do, and it just goes back again and again to sign in. It also doesn’t show you what recorded when the app is glitching. Very frustrating to lose so much data because they can’t get the app right. Ps. The only way to resolve the log in issue is to delete the whole app and start over. Definitely go with some other company if you can!
