I‘m trying to learn German and for some reason all the people in the pictures don’t look at all German, and they are covering facts about Muslims completely unrelated to learning German. Not worth the price. You can get the same trash for free from Duolingo.
  • It’s better

I gave up a 1619 day streak on duo lingo to do this. It’s better.

This app is wonderful! It has multiple ways that a person can learn. I highly recommend it. It is especially good for learning grammar and pronunciation. There are very good listening and speaking opportunities as well.

I love the app. I do wish it would stop asking me to review it every day!

Moves too fast for an older inexperienced second language learner! Should have more than one lesson in each new skill. Very confusing.
  • Actually worth paying for

I did Duolingo for a while, figured paying might make me more consistent. Way more content than I thought, super helpful podcasts, so much better than any other method I’ve tried. Genuinely worth paying for
  • Good tool

Still unsure of the speak portion. Do I just hit a button before speaking or hold it down? Do you speak with speaker button or flashing up arrow?
  • Best language app ever!!

Paid the one time fee and never looked back. Now I have infinite access to lessons that actually teach you WHY languages work the way they do, and not just make you memorize a bunch of phrases you can never stray away from. Seriously couldn't recommend it more, amazing value.
