    Message for the developer. Please fix the automation feature and the working mode selection. ***Automation: Will not allow custom configuration. ***Working Mode: Will always force to use beta even after selecting normal mode. Please let us know the timeline for these fixes. ***Face ID does not work nor lock the app. It is not hard to notice that complaints and suggestions are ignored in both app reviews and online reviews as well. I am disappointed and will avoid any equipment upgrades until EUFY takes their customer’s feedback seriously.
  • App is useless

    When I try to sign up for a eufy account I keep getting a can not connect to server error. Tried everything and can’t sign up. Camera is useless without it.

    Recently the app has started showing ads. I paid for the hardware and the app controls the hardware so I shouldn’t be subjected to ads. One more company to not do business with.
  • Recordings inaccessible if camera is gone

    Regardless of whether recordings are stored in the base or in Eufy’s cloud, if a camera goes offline for any reason (hardware failure, stolen, loss of signal, etc.), recordings for that camera are totally inaccessible until the camera is restored (if ever). A worst-case scenario would be a thief steals the cameras and no video evidence is available. This is utterly ridiculous behavior to the point that it seems Eufy intended it this way. The cameras are poor at reliably detecting and recording motion events to begin with. Look elsewhere for real security! UPDATE: Eufy support sent an irrelevant response to this review. Their response was all about HomeKit integration. I don’t use HomeKit and my review doesn’t mention it.

    Used to work just fine but now constantly fails to load videos. "The file has been deleted due to overwriting or manually deleting"

    I am ignored all the bad reviews and focused on the good. God, what a mistake. I have a couple thousand dollars worth of Eufy cameras and doorbells. Randomly I’ll stop getting notifications and can’t view events or even live views, the only way to fix is to unplug the base unit. No nothing works, the base won’t connect to my home network. Believe the bad reviews, the software is absolute junk. You’ve been warned.
  • Video Event Viewing Is Antiquated

    Viewing captured video “day by day” is tedious and counterproductive. I should be able to see all videos in a single page grouped by date. Scrolling through multiple *empty* days to find the day a video was recorded, is a bit antiquated.
  • Locked out of update and app

    The latest “update” is only halfway updated and then stuck. I can’t open my cameras and I can’t quit the update. Right before I hit the update I could hear my dog barking and then the camera locked up. 🙁 It’s been this way for over an hour now.
  • Take your ads and shove it

    Opened the app today after not using the cameras for a bit. I immediately noticed the ads running along the bottom of the app. Big time disappointment. People do not wants ads in an app like this, especially when they have paid for your hardware. Who in the company thought it would be a good idea to wrap advertising and marketing into a product based on security and privacy? Fire them. Get back to the basic function of the product and stay there.
  • Firmware upgrade keeps failing at 99% and App Feedback feature hides the submit button
