    It is quite annoying for eufy baby to have a non-removal notice to download their “new” app and it not support everything the previous one does. This app DOES NOT support the smart sock.

  • Security Updates Disabled Post-Purchase — Serious Regulatory and Legal Risk

    I purchased multiple Eufy cameras and HomeBase devices long before any regional changes. They are fully owned by me. Your App Store notice only states that you no longer sell products or operate service centers in Russia. It does not disclose that firmware updates for existing customers would be disabled. In reality, firmware installation has completely stopped across cameras and HomeBase units. Intentionally preventing security updates on already sold surveillance equipment presents serious exposure under U.S. consumer-protection law, including potential violations of FTC Section 5 regarding unfair or deceptive practices, post-sale product degradation, and breach of implied warranties. Cybersecurity maintenance is not optional for connected cameras. Removing access after purchase materially diminishes the product’s value and increases safety risk to users. If this restriction is mandated by law, the specific legal authority should be cited publicly and transparently. Absent such disclosure, this conduct appears highly vulnerable to regulatory scrutiny, coordinated complaints to consumer-protection agencies, and potential civil litigation. I strongly urge Eufy to immediately restore firmware update access for existing customers or formally publish the precise legal basis for disabling it.

  • You broke it

    My system used to work correctly, but a couple issues have popped up: 1) For at least a month, my whole system has about a 3-second delay. Watching live, notifications, trying to control both SoloCam S340’s, etc… all delayed. 2) For probably at least 2-3 months, SoloCam S340 will incorrectly notify/record motion outside of activity zone, but it doesn’t track it. Everything, including tracking, works as expected for motion inside the activity zone. My system all with latest firmware updates available as of today: 4 eufyCam E40’s, 2 SoloCam S340’s, 1 Indoor Cam E30, HomeBase 3 and E10 Smart Display. Also using latest version of this app. Normally I’d contact support about stuff, but I firmly believe that you’ve broken these oddball things with firmware updates and I don’t have the energy to be a beta tester.

    Quit the popup ads that continually bother me with your products. I paid for the camera. Just because you offer the app for free doesn’t give you the right to bombard me with ads. Of course the ads popup right where I would normally touch a camera function. Looks like you’re hoping I’ll “accidentally” hit the popup.

  • Cleaning portion is garbage

    It is so difficult to split rooms and change room orders. You make changes that aren’t visible to other parts of the experience. It’s constantly delayed from other views. I didn’t think it could get worse from the last version but I was wrong.

    New user and this has to be the worst app I’ve ever seen. How do I set schedules for cameras now? Why does away mode trigger alarms? Absolutely debating sending the whole thing back.

  • Don’t upgrade for cleaning

    When I upgraded from Eufy clean to this app my maps were deleted. So far support has not been able to get them back. I will have to remap 3 floors and label all the rooms! I have the X10 Omni Pro.

    doesn’t register my sons smart sock is in use AT ALL, the old app works fine still but this one will say his sock is charging while he’s wearing and the other app is provide info.
