    After the most recent firmware update, it stopped giving food and didn’t tell me. Cat got sick. Then it said the device is offline. Do not buy it. I am doing a credit card chargeback.

    I’ve lost count of how many times I have added my fountain to my app. And it always loses connection when it starts running low 😩

    As others have said the app lets you subscribe but there is no way to stop the renewal. No cancellation option here, only to move it to another device, and their website does not manage subs made through the app. I submitted a ticket requesting cancellation as my only option.

    I purchased a Petlibro Luma Litter box that refuses to pair with the app. I’ve reached out to Petlibro on multiple attempts and still no response. The litter box is essentially a large paperweight. And there is no direct number to contact for support. Only an email that they never respond to.

  • Notifications don’t work for low food

    Things were going well until a couple months ago when notifications for low food quit getting pushed to my phone. Based on our set up at home, I don’t see the messages on the feeder unless I go to look for it. I’ve tried cleaning the device and working with support, but it’s still not fixed. This stopped on both feeders at the same time, so it seems like a glitch with the app and not the feeders themselves. These notifications are going to an iPhone 14. It would also be nice to see what is included in the subscriptions for the device easier, as well.

    I purchased the wet and dry feeders. The dry feeder has mostly worked except for instances when the app is updating and the product becomes nonfunctional for a few days. The wet feeder stopped working after 2 months. I have been trying to contact customer service over the last month. Their response time is pitiful. It takes a week in between messages to receive a response and the steps provided don’t solve the problem. Then, you have to wait 7-10 days to get another response. In this day and age I haven’t dealt with a company with such poor customer service in a long time. Do not buy from this company. They are a scam and do not provide quality products.

    Purchased Granary Feeder 2 and app is straight up does not work outside home network. Biggest scam out there. Save your money and purchase another feeder instead.

  • Firmware update buggy

    Since the last software update, both cameras send human detection notifications even when the camera is turned off (sometimes sending notifications hours after the movement was initially detected), fail to send pet movement notifications (even when turned on all day), and periodically disconnect from the WiFi for hours at a time (and then reconnect themselves without my intervention). Software updates should improve functionally, not degrade it or introduce new bugs. Cameras should NOT be recording when powered off.

    Great to be able to schedule meal times for my pet and see how he’s eating, even when I’m away. App also lets me know when to refill and how much food is left. The app is a little finicky - I get notifications for feeds when my pet has not eaten or for food dispensing when it’s not time. The data within the app is accurate but the notifications are way off. Also, for anyone considering the Pro Care subscription, it’s not worth it unless you own the full Petlibro ecosystem of Devices. Definitely a $ grab.
