  • Glitchy app, don’t recommend

    I purchased the automatic feeder so I could feed my cats mid-morning while I am at work. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this product. Do not rely on the app to work 100% of the time. It often takes a while to load. The app will say it “timed out” and that no food was dispensed. In reality, the feeder DID dispense the food despite what the app said. This results in the pet getting fed multiple times if you attempt to feed them again after the “time out” notification. Unless you have the version of the feeder with the camera, I would not recommend this product/app if you plan to not be home when feeding the pet. At least with the camera you can know for sure if your pet was fed because you can watch the video.

  • You can’t just use the device

    You have to tell it your life story and your pet's life story. You get upsold on tons of products when really all you wanted to do is what you paid for: dispense food

  • A few problem

    First and foremost it doesn’t allow you to be signed in to more than one device which is annoying because me and my spouse both want access to the app. Second and this is a minor annoyance, you can only set one meal call that spans across all meals versus have different call sounds for different meals. Easy fixes, hopefully they take notes and update accordingly. Other than that the app is fine. I do wish it stores passwords and used Face unlock to autofill.

    For whatever reason, this app is requesting my precise location in order to connect a device over WiFi. This is shady at best. Even worse the account deletion feature does nothing. If you value your personal data, avoid this company’s apps and products.

    I keep getting network request errors and to try again later, hours later and even an update still broken can’t access my schedule or feed my pet.

  • Annoying limited login access

    App only allows one mobile device to be logged in at a time. My spouse and I constantly bump each other out and it is extremely annoying if we want to quickly check in or drop a feeding. This is a ridiculous limitation.

    I just got an update and now I can’t load my videos at all. This has been a constant problem since I bought the feeder. I don’t want a subscription, I just want to load from my SD card! Fix it!!!

  • Good Could Be Great

    The app works well but I dislike how you don’t have the option to delete log data. I was moving the cordless water fountain to another room and some water spilt and the device logged that as water drank. And there is no way to delete this incorrect entry to ensure my cat’s water intake is accurately recorded. The only work around it unbind the device entirely and reset it up as a new device. This feels like an oversight that could easily be fixed with a software update. Please consider adding this feature to the app.

    Shocked this has such good reviews, and it makes me question the legitimacy of them. It’s incredibly difficult to get the app to connect to the Petlibro feeder—even when the feeder, phone, and router are within 5 inches of each other— and even once I am actually able to connect it, it will randomly log me out of the app and give me error messages when I try to get back in. It’s completely unreliable. You’re better off getting a security camera to put by the cat food. It’ll be more reliable and less expensive.

    Redesign around cloud/ ads annoying, I’m okay with my own sd card. sD Card says full even though continuous recording is on.
