The initial set up was a pain in the butt, but after that, everything is smooth picture is clear. I would highly recommend this product.

They just work every time.

Simply awesome i can turn the lights on and off while we’re away. Especially the outside lights. Prior to having the Kasa smart switches we would leave the outside lights on when we would leave the house for any extended length of time and turn them off upon our arrival back to the house. Now i have them on a schedule. So not only does this save us on our electricity bill but it makes the appearance of someone being in the dwelling. Love my Kasa switches. Highly recommended

Title says it all. Most of my units are on timers and now I guess all will be. Time to throw the cameras away. They were kind of a mess anyway. Goodbye Kasa app

Easy to operate.

Stay away from this app! Not only does it have 8 permissions it doesn’t need, but you have to create an account with your email before you can even use it. It requires you to jump through numerous steps that should be unnecessary. It wants access to things it doesn’t need and asks questions it already knows the answers to. On top of all that IT’S BROKEN! I can’t add a TP-Link Kasa product to Apple Home from the Kasa app. It re-directs you to Apple Home, after asking for permission to access all of your Apple Home, and has you photograph the QR code and that promptly fails. After hours of trouble shooting and zero support from TP-Link I give up. The Kasa products are being returned and this horrible app uninstalled. I should have learned from Tapo another half-baked TP-Link brand. Conversely I’ve zero problems with Meross, Aqara, and Eve working flawlessly with Apple Home.

So easy and works perfectly. It’s awesome when products work like they should or even better! Thanks Kasa!

Since the most recent update, this app has become useless junk. Repeatedly just keeps saying “operation failed”. Can’t view anything.
