ever since I got office 365, it has been a nightmare. Always something new: App must be upgraded, so we can't save open documents, can't highlight a word, can't type sentences close one to another unles i go in and manually change the settings (I set it for always yet it reverts back to spaced sentences!). It literally stinks!

Even though it crashes sometimes and hangs up or takes time to retrieve last save, MS word is a reliable application, consistent, efficient and most goto app.

I used to be able to create my own table with rows and columns and now can't find this in tool bar.

I’ve used Word for decades. In recent years it has become so bloated with so many features it is almost impossible to use. The interface is crowded with all kinds of AI garbage and the settings are so complicated between devices that I waste a ton of time just trying to get the program to work. It took an hour of troubleshooting just to figure out how to select text with my cursor. How is there even an option that would prevent that?? This is just one of many awful aspects of not only Word, but Microsoft Office entirely. Not user friendly, absolutely awful.

It is constantly identifying words as spelled incorrectly which negatively impacts my flow. I have checked the language settings a million times and googled solves - nothing. The dictionary is quite incomplete, the thesaurus is a joke. The limitations on templates and formatting is infuriating and the One Drive overlord is unbearably disruptive, temperamental and slow.

Im a hater

I had autosave on and I pressed the save button several times before closing out the file to check another, and it deleted the last 3 hours of work. When I clicked on version history it had no record of any work for over 24 hours, and I lost my final paper for one of my classes. I tried several methods of recovery but none of them worked.
